The SURECITY project was presented in the JPI Urban Europe Workshop “Bridging the gap between research and practice: how to more successfully involve entrepreneurs in the implementation process?” that took place on the 11th-12th of September in Cascais and Lisbon.

In the first day, the participants visited several site visits in Cascais in order to get a first-hand insight into operational innovative projects in urban transition. The actual workshop took place on the second day in Lisbon, where enterprises were asked to give a pitch about their contribution to sustainable urbanisation and then to participate in group works to identify and discuss the needs, main players and tools for sustainable urbanisation.

In their pitch, 3drivers, member of the SURECITY consortium, presented the project to the participants, focusing on its goals and potential contributions to sustainable and resource efficient cities. The workshop was a great opportunity to share knowledge and experience with enterprises and other entities in the field of sustainable urbanisation which allowed 3drivers to gain new insights that will be useful in the exploitation of the SURECITY platform...
